Mar 30, 2017 - TEMPE, AZ - The Tempe Police Department says they've now found and captured a man who professedly struck his own mom and grandma. Police say 37-year-old Nicholas Elkins extremely beat his grandma and mom and stole the family vehicle Tuesday. The grandma, who is in her eighties, is still in basic condition from the attack while the mother, in her sixties, is in genuine condition. Police say Elkins was found strolling close Orange Street and Terrace Road in Tempe and was arrested without episode Thursday evening. Police have not said what Elkin's thought process was behind the attack, however said he has a background marked by medication mishandle.
