19 February 2017 - FORNEY, Texas — The Forney Police Department is exploring a shooting occurrence in downtown Forney on Saturday night. Around 10:30 p.m., the Forney Police Department got a few reports of shots being heard in the downtown range. A 911 guest guided police to the crossing point of Austin Street and West Trinity Street where shell housings had been found. Neighbors reveal to inForney.com they heard around five or six shots in the zone. No captures have been set aside a few minutes and there was no obvious structures, vehicles, or people struck by the gunfire. Police recuperated a few shell housings from the Austin Street and West Trinity Street convergence and talked with witnesses.
