March 17, 2017 - NEWARK - City authorities are looking for group volunteers to help Newark's police compel. Leader Ras Baraka and Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose reported they are bringing back the Newark Auxiliary Police Program that will prepare and select group individuals to help the police division with group control, activity issues and building security. "Group inclusion is an imperative concentration of our work to make Newark more secure," Baraka said. "The helper police volunteers speak to group contribution taking care of business: natives getting specifically included in imperative police capacities." Individuals from the assistant program will be prepared, given garbs and some gear.
