Mar 3, 2017 - The Fort Walton Beach Police Department revealed that for the second day a power shaft in the city was snapped taking after a fender bender including a tanked driver. Early Friday morning, as per FWBPD, a crash at Hollywood Boulevard and Harbeson Avenue seriously harmed the vehicle and brought on the substitution of a power shaft. While movement was ceased in the range for a timeframe, the road was opened by around 4 a.m. On Thursday morning, Eglin Parkway at First Street was shut for a few hours as a Gulf Power team supplanted a power post hit by a vehicle being driven by another smashed driver. Fortress Walton Beach police revealed that both drivers are in prison on DUI charges,FWBPD issued a suggestion to occupants "Not to drink and drive. Have an arrangement. Have an assigned driver, call a taxicab or utilize or cell phone and orchestrate a Uber or Lyft."
