January 4, 2017 - TARBORO, N.C. (WNCT) – An auto pursue taking after a shooting in Tarboro finished after the driver slammed the auto, fled by walking and was in the long run caught after a thorough K9 look, the Tarboro Police Department said. 

Without further ado before 6 a.m. Wednesday morning, officers with the Tarboro Police Department reacted to the range of Main Street and Davis Drive in Tarboro in regards to a shooting into a possessed abiding. Officers found a vehicle a few squares away coordinating the depiction given by witnesses and endeavored to draw it over. Tarboro police said the driver headed out and lead officers on a pursuit that finished along Tall Oaks Road in Edgecombe County after the driver lost control and crashed into a dump dike. The driver then left the vehicle and fled by walking, officers said.
