December 13, 2015 - Kalama PD headquarters condemned after flood. The flooding that overtook Kalama earlier this week claimed the Kalama Police Department headquarters as one of its victims. The Kalama City Building Inspector condemned the building at 535 N. 1st Street, police officials said late Friday. The department will be moved to a temporary spot in the Kalama Community Building, 216 Elm Street.
