JANUARY 5, 2017 - Fort PAYNE, Ala. – The Fort Payne Police Department is leading a passing examination after a detainee was discovered lethargic in a correctional facility cell on Wednesday. Authorities affirm that 33-year-old Stephanie Renee Clines was captured by Fort Payne police on January 4, at around 2:05 p.m., on a warrant for the Marshall County Sheriff's Office. Authorities said that around 7:40 p.m., Ms. Cline was discovered lethargic in her cell by a prison guard. Post Payne cops, Fort Payne Fire and DeKalb Ambulance Service reacted to the city correctional facility and endeavored to revive Cline. Cline was transported to the DeKalb Regional Medical Center where she was articulated dead at 8:45 p.m. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency is accountable for the examination.
