Recent News for East Ridge Tennessee Police Department:
The episode occurred at a home in the 3100 square of Moseley Circle at around 10 a.m. on Sunday. East Ridge Police Department Assistant Chief Stan Allen says a man and lady thumped on the entryway, and after that constrained their way into the casualty's home. Allen says the man was outfitted with a handgun. Allen says they tied the casualty's wrists with zip ties before stripping the home, clearly searching for "cash and medications." The casualty's child and his child's better half appeared at the home a brief timeframe later, and the suspects escaped. Allen says they were driving a more current silver Infiniti with Georgia Walker County plates that read TLE71. The auto had tinted windows and an Alabama cord dangling from the rearview reflect.
Many correctional facilities let families send books and magazines to an inmate — but almost all of them require the items to be brand-new and shipped directly from the retailer. Anything sent secondhand or repackaged at home is usually rejected at the mailroom. Ordering from a retailer that ships direct is the standard way to get reading material in.
- Must ship new, directly from the retailer — you can't forward it yourself.
- Softcover / paperback only at most facilities (hardcovers are commonly banned).
- No used or third-party marketplace sellers — new copies only.
- Limits on quantity per package and how many packages may be pending.
- Address it to the inmate's full committed name and ID number.
- Use the facility's mailroom address, which can differ from the public address.
