Vacaville Jail is located in the city of Vacaville, California which has a population of 94,275 (as of 2013) residents. Vacaville Jail began processing inmates once the original construction was completed and service started in 1850 but may have been expanded or renovated since that time, to accommodate the growing prison population. This facility is currently under the supervision of Police Cheif John Carli and houses male and female offenders.

If you have a family or loved one that is currently incarcerated at Vacaville Jail, the first thing you should do is contact the prison for information on the inmate. Based on the information you are provided, you would then contact either a criminal defense lawyer or a bail bond service. They will provide you with vital information which can be used to defend an individual and in a lot of cases get them released from detention while awaiting trial.

Recent News for Vacaville California Police Department:

FEBRUARY 17, 2017 - VACAVILLE — Officers and Home Depot workers assisted two Belgian guests Friday after their rental auto was broken into. Around the local area for business, the Belgian couple had halted at an eatery close to the Vacaville Premium Outlets on their approach to San Francisco to get a flight. After leaving the eatery they found that their rental auto's traveler side back window was crushed in and their baggage had been stolen, as per the Vacaville Police Department. Officers touched base at the scene just before 6 p.m. also, offered to help out. They drove alongside the Belgian couple to an adjacent Home Depot where they enrolled the assistance of workers to fix up the window and vacuum up the broken glass. "In spite of the fact that it's genuinely appalling that the lives of these two voyagers were touched by the sticky fingers of criminals, they made sure to guarantee our officers that their memory of our city would be a lovely one as a result of the care and empathy appeared to them in their desperate hour," composed the Vacaville Police Department.
