March 2, 2017 - ELGIN, IL - A 24-year-old Elgin man blamed for taking two vehicles in Elgin as of late was captured for intoxicated driving after experts pulled him over in one of the stolen vehicles. Jonathan Nunez has been accused of ownership of a stolen vehicle, a class 2 lawful offense, taking after his capture in Bellwood. Experts put a caution out on two stolen vehicles after a 2000 Honda was stolen from the 200 piece of South Grove Ave. on Feb. 12 and a 1995 Oldsmobile was stolen from a similar region on Feb. 19, as per an Elgin Police Department public statement. Nearby police were told that the Bellwood Police Department had captured Nunez, who was driving the stolen Oldsmobile at the time, for driving affected by liquor.
