April 7, 2017 - Police are still on the scene in the 2000 square of Columbiana Road, where a one-year-old kid was discovered lethargic inside a vehicle. Capt. Brian Gilham at Vestavia Hills Police Department said police and terminate division representatives were called to the scene at around 4:36 p.m. The lethargic youngster was transported to Children's of Alabama and articulated dead on landing in 5:06 p.m. Gilham said the division is regarding the case as a passing examination and said it is ahead of schedule all the while.
