Sep 1, 2016 - An estimated $25,000 worth of damaged caused by vandalism at the site of the new high school | Covington & Maple Valley Police Blotter. Maple Valley police are investigating vandalism at the site of the new Tahoma High School. According to a post on the Tahoma School District's Facebook page, a window was shattered, fire extinguishers were set off, graffiti was written in several locations and floor sealant was spilled. The damage has been estimated at $25,000. The damage is covered by the contractor's insurance. Additional security cameras are being installed. Anyone with information, is asked to contact the Maple Valley Police Department.
