DECEMBER 29, 2016 - LA PORTE, Texas — The personalities of two warriors with the Texas Army National Guard were discharged Thursday after the men kicked the bucket in a helicopter crash amid a normal preparing flight over Galveston Bay, experts said

Specialists said The AH-64 Apache helicopter fell into the water in no time before 4 p.m. Wednesday off the Bayport Cruise Terminal close El Jardin Beach, The Texas Army National Guard affirmed. 

The Texas Army distinguished the fallen fighters as Dustin Lee Mortenson, 32, of League City and Lucas Maurice Lowe,33, of Hardin. 

Mortenson and Lowe passed on from wounds supported amid the crash, authorities said. 

Both fighters were from the Texas Army National Guard's first of the 149th Attack Helicopter Battalion, Texas Army National Guard Chief Warrant Officer Glen Webb said at a question and answer session. One of the bodies has been found, and a hunt and recuperation operation is in progress for the second, specialists said. 

The helicopter left from Ellington Joint Reserve Base in Houston before colliding with the water, as indicated by CNN. 

"All we know is that our pilots are exceedingly prepared, very qualified veterans who have been flying this flying machine for a long time," Master Sgt. Sean Cowher said.
