September 7, 2016 - State College Police say recent armed robberies could possibly be connected. State College Police Department Lieutenant Keith Robb made a statement on Tuesday in regards to the possible connection between the two armed robberies that have occurred in State College. He said, based on the similar descriptions of the alleged assailant from both robberies, it is likely the same person committed both crimes.

The robbery that occurred on campus happened before the robbery downtown, but was reported at a later time than the downtown incident.
