Marlboro Township Jail which opened in 1968 is located in Marlboro, New Jersey which is a town of 40,000+ residents in Monmouth County.  This is a holding facility for all individuals that have committed crimes in the Marlboro and Morganville towns.  The police department and jail is operated by Police Chief Bruce E. Hall and is staffed by 65 full-time sworn officers as well as 10 full-time and 4 part-time communication operators.  The facility is able to hold inmates awaiting trial for minor infractions.  The more serious offenders would be transferred to Monmouth County Correctional Facility   Court Sessions at Marlboro Township are held on Thursdays and the presiding Judge is James. Newman.
