Recent News for Dearborn Michigan Police Department:

February 11, 2017 - DEARBORN, MI - The lawyer for two open convey advocates captured for the current week at a Dearborn police headquarters says his customers were trapped by cops who knew they were firearm toting activists and met them with weapons drawn. "They needed to show them a lesson and that is not their occupation," said Nicholas Somberg, who is speaking to Brandon Vreeland, 40, of Jackson and James Baker, 24, of Leonard. The two men are to be charged Feb. 24 in District Court in Dearborn. Each is accused of three offenses, including exasperating the peace. None of the asserted offenses include guns, noted Somberg, who says the men did nothing illicit when they strolled, outfitted and wearing strategic vests, Sunday into the Dearborn Police Department. Bread cook had a strike rifle, a sidearm and a balaclava, a veil worn by military work force. Vreeland conveyed a tripod and a camera.
