 SEPTEMBER 26, 2016 - Middle Easterner, Ala. — Arab Police officers found a nine foot tall maryjane plant in a yard while out on a call. The Arab Police Department says officers reacted to an abusive behavior at home call at a home on Lee Ann Lane in Arab. Middle Easterner Police Assistant Chief Shane Washburn says while the officers were there they noticed maryjane. Washburn says subsequent to looking, the officers found a nine foot tall cannabis plant developing in the yard adjacent. The division is acquiring a capture warrant, and the proprietor of the house is required to face charges.
